In Kyrgyzstan, an update of all textbooks is planned in accordance with the new educational standards. This was reported by Aida Ishenaliev, the deputy director of the publishing house "Okuu Kitabi," which is managed by the Ministry of Education.

According to her, in 2025, 856.5 million soms will be allocated from the state budget for the publication of educational literature, which will allow providing the country's educational institutions with about 5 million copies of textbooks.

Ishenaliev also added that new educational and methodological complexes are currently being developed. In the process of this work, authors and editors are providing support to teachers and parents in both online and offline formats.

This information was announced at a meeting with the heads of educational institutions in Kara-Suu, where the content of the new textbooks and the nuances of their implementation were discussed.

The ministry noted that the update of textbooks is being carried out in stages. From 2017 to 2024, less than 4 million copies of educational literature were published.
