The road will be 3.2 kilometers long, connecting Kasymbekov and J. Rayimbekov Streets. The width of the roadway will be 24 meters and will include 4 lanes of traffic. In addition, the project includes the construction of sidewalks, landscaping, and the installation of modern lighting.
According to Kazybay uulu, a contractor has already been selected, and the necessary documentation has been prepared. One of the key tasks is to clear the land that falls within the construction zone, or the so-called "red line." "About 100 objects are subject to demolition, but this does not necessarily mean that 100 residential houses will be demolished. In most cases, it concerns extensions, fences, and awnings that violate the established boundaries," he clarified. To simplify the process, the road will be widened by 12 meters on both sides from the center.
Preliminary estimates suggest that an area of about 13,000 square meters on the right side and 6–7,000 square meters on the left will be subject to demolition or partial dismantling. Currently, negotiations are underway with property owners for legal compensation for damages.
The total cost of the project is estimated at 380 million soms, which includes compensation for owners, the relocation of underground utilities (water supply, sewage), and road construction works.
All expenses will be financed from the local budget. The project timeline is extremely tight — completion of the work is scheduled within three months.
At present, work has already started on the section from the Manas roundabout to the "Jiydelik" cemetery, as this section does not require demolition. The main problem for the authorities remains procedural issues related to the demolition of objects that hinder construction.
