Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev, who is also the head of the Russian Olympic Committee, announced that the 2026 Winter Olympics, which will take place in Italy from February 6 to 22, will be streamed by the Okko streaming service.

According to him, viewers will be able to watch all the competitions as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. "The broadcasts will be available both live and on demand, and they can be viewed on any device," noted Degtyarev.

In addition, the broadcasts will be free for everyone who wishes to watch.

The last official broadcasts of the Olympics on Russian television took place in 2022, and in 2024, for the first time in four decades, Russian viewers were left without broadcasts of the Games.
