1. Goals and Objectives of the Dance OLYMPIAD
1.1. Goals:
1. Preservation, enhancement, and popularization of the moral and cultural achievements of youth in the field of dance art and sports.
2. Development of national unity through dance art and sports.
3. Development of spiritual perfection, a healthy lifestyle, mass physical culture, and sports.
1.2. Objectives:
1. Identification of talented dancers and choreographers among the youth.
2. Improvement of the artistic and performance level of dance groups and young dancers.
3. Creation of a unified creative space and expansion of creative ties between dance groups of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign countries.
4. Formation of aesthetic tastes among performers and audiences based on the best examples of dance art.
5. Rehabilitation and creative work with people with disabilities.
2. Organizers
2.1. The organizer of the First Dance Olympiad in Central Asia is
the project leader, president of the Federation of Modern Stage Dance of the Kyrgyz Republic, O.S. Polyanychko.
2.2. The organizer of the First Dance Olympiad in Central Asia coordinates and approves the competition regulations with the president of the International Dance Organization (IDO), Michael Wendt.

6.1. IDO AGE GROUPS
Note:
1. The ratings of FSET KR, KFSICiM for determining the composition of the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic are considered exclusively according to IDO age categories.
2. For youth ages (solos, duets), adults 2 and seniors (duets, groups, formations), ratings are considered according to WADA (World Art & Dance Alliance) rules. See WADA, FSET KR, KFSICiM rules.
The following age groups apply at IDO events:

Adult 2 groups and formations may be in any IDO discipline at the organizer's discretion
Adult 2 - the participant must be 31 years old in the year of the competition. This applies to all disciplines.
If a dancer has once registered to participate in the age of Seniors, they cannot compete in the main age (Adults 1) group without a decision from the Presidium.
The official title of World Champion is awarded only in the Adult 1 group. For children, juniors, and adults 2, the title is indicated along with the age.
Example: Children’s World Tap Dance Championship 1998. Winner of the World Championship\ Children’s World Championship of 1998.
DEFINITION OF AGE CATEGORY
Definition: Age, or number of years, that they will turn in the calendar year
A. For Duets or Couples, the older partner must meet the age of the group in which they are competing. The partner may be up to two years younger than the lower age limit of the age group, but the age difference between partners must not exceed three years.
Example: One dancer is 10 and the other is 13 years old. They can dance in the Junior age category. But it is prohibited if the younger one is 9 years old.
Note 1: The younger age category is allowed to dance in the older one, but not vice versa, the older in the younger.
Note 2: A dancer from the younger age group who registered in the older age group, as shown in the example Duets Juniors, must dance in this nomination and age for all remaining competitions of the current year. He or she is not allowed to dance in the age group Children with another partner but may dance in their age group Children in Small Groups or Formations.
A dancer who has once chosen to participate in an older age group, such as Tap Duet or Jazz Duet, is required to compete in this nomination and age until the end of the year.
Dancers are allowed to participate in two different ages based on the following provisions:
It is not allowed to participate simultaneously in Junior Dance Show Duets and Adult Dance Show Duets. That is, in two identical nominations of one discipline, but in different ages. However, a dancer may participate in all other nominations of their age until reaching the next age group.
Example: A dancer aged Children 10 or 11 years may dance in Junior Dance Show Duets and participate in all other nominations of the age group Children Dance Show – Solo, Small Groups, Formations, Children Disco Duets, Children Hip-Hop Small Groups, Children Tap Formations but is not allowed to participate in Children Dance Show Duets.
B. In Trios, Small Groups, Teams, and Formations, participation of dancers from the younger age group is allowed, provided that their age must be at least two years different from the lower age limit of the older group. This rule applies to all ages except Adults 2 and Seniors.
At least 50% of the dancers must be of the age of the main age group. Their age must correspond to the age limits of the specific group.
Note 1: The younger age category is allowed to dance in the older one, but not vice versa, the older in the younger.
A dancer who has once chosen to participate in an older age group is required to compete only in this nomination and age until the end of the year.
Dancers are allowed to participate in two different ages based on the following provisions:

Example: A dancer aged Children 10 or 11 years may dance in Junior Dance Show Small Groups and participate in all other nominations of the age group Children Dance Show – Solo, Formations, Children Disco Duets, Children Hip-Hop Small Groups, Children Tap Formations but is not allowed to participate in Children Dance Show Small Groups.
The organizer has the right to hold competitions in the age group Children under 7 years if it is held simultaneously with the group Children 11 years and under. This group is called Mini Kids\ Mini Kids
Note:
a) In small groups and formations, participation of dancers is allowed only from the declared and younger age categories. At the same time, the younger category dancers must not exceed 50% of the total composition of the group or formation.
b) In duets, participation of one of the dancers from the previous age is allowed, provided that in 2015 they transition to this age category. The age difference between partners must not exceed 3 years.
c) In the nominations “Mini Production”, “Mixed Formation” and “Production” there are no age restrictions.

6.2. Participants and soloists are divided:
- Beginners (up to 2 years of training)
- Continuing
- Coaches
- Professionals
In duets and groups for adults and seniors, participation of studio teachers is ALLOWED.
6.3. The age group is determined by the year of birth, not by the actual age on the day of the competition (event), providing documents confirming age is MANDATORY!
6.4. Participation of grand-seniors in the age category seniors and adults is allowed, as well as seniors in adults (if there are few applications).
6.5. In duets, small groups, and formations, participation of dancers from the previous (younger) age category is allowed, but not more than 50% of the total composition of the small group, formation, duet. In the nominations duets, small groups, formations, production in Belly Dance shows for adults – participation of dancers from age categories: children and juniors is allowed, but not more than 50% of the total composition of the duet, small group, formation.
7. Requirements for participants, leaders, and coaches
In compositions of any style, three stages of dance development must be used:
- introduction
- climax
- resolution
Stage rehearsal only during dry warm-up (before the start of the event).
8. Performance Regulations
Solo, duet/couple – maximum 2.15 min.
Small group – maximum 3.00 min.
Formation – maximum 4.00 min. In children – maximum 3.00 min.
Mini production – minimum 3.00 min, maximum 8.00 min.
Production – minimum 4.00 min, maximum 8.00 min.
8.1. Preparation for performance and exit from the stage is allocated:
Solo, duets, groups – 15 seconds before and after;
Formation – 45 seconds before and after;
Production – up to 5 minutes.
In case of violation of this clause, the participant will be disqualified!
8.2. System of conducting and evaluation:
Preliminary rounds are held depending on the number of participants in the nomination. Up to 8 participants – final, 10 – 16 – semifinals, 16 – 32 quarter-finals, more than 32 – 1/8 finals.
The performance of dancers is evaluated according to a 3D system: (execution technique, composition, image). In disciplines where a show is present, a 4D system (the criterion “show” is added). In each nomination, the performer can submit one number. At the same time, there is no limit on performances by nominations for groups.
A dancer is not allowed to compete against themselves.
8.3. The competition schedule will be adjusted during the submission of applications.
9. Criteria for evaluating creative performances
The judging criteria contain a number of sub-criteria, each of which is evaluated during the performance simultaneously.

Ability to use dance space “Floor Craft” and (where applicable) reaction and connection with other performers.

Inventive and interesting visual effects using decorations and interesting design
Use of acrobatic elements, lifts, impressive jumps, and other interesting effects is encouraged
Each part of the performance must adhere to its concept and harmony must be maintained between the concept, music, choreography, and elements.
The entire number must correspond to the age category of the dancers performing even in a separate part of the composition and should not be visually or musically offensive to the audience
Is the story, theme, concept, idea, or message fully revealed through visuality, emotionality, theatricality, and/or sound
11. Points by criteria:
Technique = 10 points,
Composition = 10 points,
Image = 10 points,
Spectacle = 10 points.
Total: The minimum possible final score is 4, the maximum is 40.
12. Judging Panel
The composition of the jury is approved by the organizer. The jury includes IDO judges, judges who have passed a qualified seminar, VIP judges - professional choreographers from Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, other regions of Kyrgyzstan, and foreign countries.
13. Participant Registration
Pre-registration is carried out until May 23, 2015, inclusive!

14. Procedure for submitting an application for participation
14.1. It is necessary to fill out the application form (attached to the Regulations) by May 18, 2015 (by 20:00) and send it

14.2. A detailed instruction must accompany the music disc: from which moment the competition dance should start the musical accompaniment (exit to music or exit, posing, then turning on the music, etc.);
14.3. If the musical accompaniment exceeds the maximum performance time set by the competition regulations, then after the established time, the musical accompaniment will be smoothly turned off.
14.4. Applications received after May 23, 2015, will be considered with a threefold increase in the entry fee!!!

15. Awards:

This title is honorary and remains with the performer forever.
All participants of the OLYMPIAD receive an Honorary Participant Passport upon registration.
The award ceremony takes place on the day of the final.
For 1-3 place in the Open Championship of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Festival-competition “Aurora- Children of the Sun” and events approved by IDO Central Asia Championship are awarded:
Soloists and duets – medals, gifts, diplomas
In group nominations – cups, diplomas for each participant.
Finalists from 4th place and beyond receive:

Procedure for final registration
Waiting in line at the registration window \ point, you need to carry out the following procedures
A. Verify the application with the office staff. You can change names in your registrations without opening a new nomination. To add additional performers with additions to the nominations, you MUST first approach the additional registration desk
B. Print applications and receipts for the fee in 2 copies.
C. Pay the fee at the cash register (during this time, badges, honorary participant passports, and starting numbers are printed for you)
D. Receive badges and numbers. Along with them, you will be given honorary participant passports to each dancer and commemorative badges
E. Receive a folder for the group leader
Entry of dancers to the event will be carried out only on the basis of the badge. Badge design rules:
- presence of a holographic mark (check at issuance)
- presence of a glued photograph of the performer 3x4 cm
- mandatory “lamination”. There will be a lamination point
Notes:
The organizing committee provides free lamination of participant badges.
Without the specified points, performers will not be allowed into the event area.
The security service and volunteers will check the photograph and appearance of the participant. Do not allow substitution. In case of detection of forgery, the badge will be confiscated and the participant will be disqualified. In case of loss of the badge, a new one can be purchased at the central office of the ORGANIZING COMMITTEE after paying a fee of 500 soms
For wearing badges, participants are offered a free ribbon. It can be attached to two\one hole\s in the badge. Participants can also purchase branded Olympic ribbons for an additional fee – they attach to one hole. All these services can be obtained in the registration area from the Volunteer Team.
Group leaders also pass like dancers based on presenting a badge. You can receive it in the registration group.
IMPORTANT! CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION MUST BE PASSED IMMEDIATELY FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP THE DAY BEFORE (one day) OF THE FIRST PERFORMANCE

Lunches and dinners for participants at a preferential price can be ordered the day before with 100% prepayment at the cash register in the registration area until 10:00

Teachers and leaders of groups participating in the Olympiad, on the days of their disciplines.
Participants of competitive programs of the Olympiad on the days of their disciplines.
Children under 7 years.
Disabled persons of the 2nd group.
Participants and veterans of wars.
Note: Free entry is granted upon presentation of a confirming document.
Additional offers and discounts:
Attention: Participants of the OLYMPIAD who have passed pre-registration and paid the registration fee have the right to attend all competition events of the OLYMPIAD in their discipline on days when they do not dance for free. This does not include master classes and Congresses.
For this, each participant must personally or accompanied by an adult approach the designated place at the registration desk on the day of attendance and receive a free ticket.
The ticket is issued only upon presentation of a copy of the document confirming their identity (passport, birth certificate, classification book of a member of FSET KR, KFSICiM, with a certified stamp and photograph).
At the registration desk, based on the results of the pre-submitted applications, there will be lists of participants by surname and by groups in alphabetical order. Those who did not go through pre-registration will not be additionally included in this list and will have to purchase an entry ticket on general terms for entry on their non-competitive day. ATTENTION – HAVE A PRINTED DUPLICATE OF THE SENT APPLICATION AND A PRINTED LETTER WITH THE CONFIRMATION TEXT FROM THE ORGANIZERS.
In case of forgery or deception when obtaining tickets, measures will be taken against the offending participants and groups, up to disqualification from participation or annulment of already shown results.
Video and photography based on membership fee!
Every spectator who wishes to take photos and videos must purchase this right, for each day, by buying a membership ticket for photo and video shooting for each day 350 soms.

The rights to shooting and reproduction in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic belong to the organizers of the OLYMPIAD.
Participants gratuitously transfer the right to video and photo shooting to the organizers.
