Today, a tennis tournament for children and teenagers in the age groups of up to 12, 14, and 16 years was opened in Bishkek. This event was introduced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The official ceremony began with a welcoming speech from the agency's director, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, who congratulated the young tennis players on the opening of the competition.
In his speech, he emphasized the importance of such tournaments for fostering sports interest among youth, developing character, discipline, endurance, and the desire to win. He also wished the participants fair competition and successful performances.
The competitions are held in the following age categories:
U12 - for participants born in 2014 and younger;
U14 - for participants born in 2012 and younger;
U16 - for participants born in 2010 and younger.
The winners in each category will be awarded cups, certificates, and prizes.
The tournament will last until February 1.
