A press conference was held in Bishkek dedicated to the upcoming international boxing tournament, which will take place from April 17 to 19. The event is organized by the promotional company Saikou Lush Boxing Promotions.
Present at the press conference was the executive director of the company, Nursultan Moydunov, as well as several Kyrgyzstani boxers who will participate in the tournament.
The tournament will be held at the Gazprom sports and health complex, and over three days, 13 boxers from Kyrgyzstan will enter the ring to compete against masters from various countries.
Nursultan Moydunov emphasized the importance of this tournament for both the development of sports in Kyrgyzstan and for attracting sports tourism.
“This will be a landmark event. Championship belts from WBA and WBA Asia will be at stake during the tournament. We expect fighters from Mexico, Japan, Thailand, India, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Indonesia. Live broadcasts of the tournament will be conducted in Japan, and there is significant interest from the international audience. I am confident that such events will help raise the prestige of our boxers and attract attention to Kyrgyzstan on the world stage,” he added.
Among the participants will be well-known athletes such as Samat Abdrakhmanov and Dilmurat Satybaldiev.
