According to information announced by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Head of the President's Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev, in 2025, the country was visited by 86,000 citizens of Tajikistan. This number is 12 times higher than the figures for 2024.
This positive trend in tourism cooperation was recorded during the first meeting of the intergovernmental council of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which took place in Bishkek. During this meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev and the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda discussed important aspects of cooperation.
In addition, the Kyrgyz side expressed interest in implementing joint tourism initiatives between the two countries, including the creation of a unified visa for citizens of third countries, which will be valid in Central Asia.
