Poison: Evil or Good?
Three friends argued about the properties of poison and its significance for humans.
- Poison heals people from ailments, - asserted the first, - the best doctors use it to help their patients. Poison is good.
- There is nothing more dangerous than poison, - said the second, - a single snake bite can kill even the strongest and healthiest person. Poison is evil.
You are both right and wrong at the same time, - said the third, - in life, there are no things that are absolutely bad or good. The effect of poison depends on the dose taken. In small amounts, poison is a medicine, while in large amounts, it is certain death. Everything has its measure. When a person knows it, anything can benefit them; when they do not know it, it only brings harm. Do not exceed the permissible dose, and then even poison will be good for you.
The Miracle of Motherhood
It is said that in one village, after the death of their parents, five children became orphans. Then a young woman, who was unable to bear children, adopted them. The youngest of the adopted babies was only three weeks old. The woman had nothing to feed him, and when the baby cried, she soothed him with gentle rocking. Looking for a solution, she smeared sour cream on her breast and offered it to the baby. The baby squeezed her so tightly that the woman's body shuddered... and a miracle happened - milk began to flow from her breast.
Thus, a bright and selfless feeling, boundless feminine kindness, and the magical power of motherhood saved the child from death.
