At the meeting of the National Accreditation Council on January 30, chaired by Deputy Minister of Education Albert Makmetkulov, key issues of accreditation were discussed.

According to the ministry's press service, the accreditation agency "Bilim Standart" has been suspended for a period of 6 months. This decision is due to previously identified serious violations in its operations that remained unaddressed, as well as the failure to comply with a number of directives from the National Accreditation Council.

During the meeting, reports on the activities of six accreditation agencies registered with the ministry for the year 2025 were also presented. Participants discussed proposals arising from these reports.

Discussing the results of the National Accreditation Council's activities for 2025, it was emphasized that it is necessary to ensure compliance with accreditation procedures by both agencies and educational institutions, to avoid conflicts of interest, and to prevent illegal actions.

In addition, meeting participants reported on plans to improve accreditation activities, including possible changes to regulatory legal acts.
