In Kyrgyzstan's schools, 30 cases of racketeering were registered in 2025

In Kyrgyzstan, 30 incidents of school racketeering were registered throughout 2025. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktobyr Urmambetov at a meeting of the Ministry of Education's board.

Urmambetov noted that in 2024, only 8 cases of school racketeering were recorded.

Of the 30 registered cases in 2025:

- 17 occurred in the Jalal-Abad region;

- 4 cases were recorded in the Issyk-Kul region;

- 3 incidents took place in Bishkek;

- 2 facts were noted in the Chui region;

- 1 case was recorded in Osh;

- 1 incident occurred in the Talas region;

- 1 case was registered in the Batken region;

- 1 incident was recorded in the Osh region.
