The Bishkek City Hall announces the introduction of new requirements for construction companies regarding urban improvement. According to the resolution of the Bishkek City Council dated August 29, 2024, No. 150, all construction sites must be equipped with wheel washing stations for vehicles leaving these sites. This requirement is outlined in item 172 of the city’s improvement regulations.
Compliance with these norms is extremely important, as non-compliance may lead to the contamination of road surfaces with dirt and mud, negatively affecting road safety and the condition of urban infrastructure.
To monitor compliance with these requirements, continuous oversight will be conducted by the municipal inspection of the city hall. In case of violations, appropriate measures will be taken against responsible individuals.
Construction companies must ensure:
The installation and continuous operation of wheel washing stations for all vehicles leaving construction sites.
Prevention of dirt and soil being carried away from the construction site.
Timely cleaning of the area within a radius of 15 meters from the site.
In case of non-compliance with the established norms, violators will face measures in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
