The level of air pollution in Bishkek has exceeded the norm by two times.

According to information provided by the Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Service, an exceedance of the average daily concentration of pollutants in the air was recorded in Bishkek.

According to monitoring results conducted from February 20 to 26, the level of pollution was found to be twice the permissible norms.

It should be noted that the main factors contributing to air pollution remain emissions from motor vehicles, heating systems in the private sector, and adverse weather conditions.
