11 Automatic Air Quality Monitoring Stations to be Installed in the Kyrgyz Republic

A project to improve air quality is being implemented in Kyrgyzstan, supported by the World Bank with funding of 50 million dollars. This was reported by Asel Rayymkulova, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee.

According to her, new equipment has been purchased for "Kyrgyzgidromet," and the tender for the development of project documentation for the construction of a laboratory and air quality monitoring center has been completed.

“We have signed an agreement for the acquisition of mobile laboratories for air quality monitoring. Currently, technical documentation is being prepared for the installation of 11 automatic stations in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Kara-Balta, Cholpon-Ata, and Tokmok,” she added.
