As a result of the raid conducted on Issyk-Kul, 400 meters of fishing nets used for illegal fishing were identified and seized. This information was announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As indicated by representatives of the ministry, the operational actions were carried out by inspectors of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service in cooperation with employees of the Issyk-Kul Regional Administration.
During the raid, an old Chinese fishing net, with a total length of 400 meters, was discovered and extracted from the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul.
