US Dollar Rate:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 87.45 soms (unchanged).
- Average market rate: buying — 87.34 soms, selling — 87.79 soms.
Euro Rate:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 102.1154 soms (an increase of 0.28 percent), which is a new December high for the European currency.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 101.39 soms, selling — 102.38 soms.
Russian Ruble Rate:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 1.1316 soms (an increase of 0.37 percent), which has become a new record for the ruble's value this year, marking the second record in two days.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 1.13 soms, selling — 1.159 soms.
Kazakh Tenge Rate:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 0.1751 soms (an increase of 0.92 percent), which has become a new high in December, and the second significant increase in a couple of days.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 0.1539 soms, selling — 0.1819 soms.
Chinese Yuan Rate:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 12.371 soms (a decrease of 0.06 percent). This is the first depreciation in the last week, during which the yuan reached a yearly high.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 12.05 soms, selling — 12.7 soms.
