The most significant contribution to production came from the Chuy region, where 12,844.8 tons of fish were obtained.
Data from other regions is presented below:
In the structure of produced fish, rainbow trout predominates — its volume amounted to 17,132.05 tons. Carp (common carp) accounted for 813.2 tons, while the production of other fish species reached 1,563.6 tons.
These positive results confirm the sustainable development of aquaculture and the successful expansion of fish farming throughout the country, as noted by the department.
- Digital platforms and information systems in the field of fish farming have also been implemented in Kyrgyzstan. Among the innovations, the "Electronic Fishing License" information system is actively used, and the "Unified Electronic Register of Fishery Water Bodies and Fishery Entities" information system is in operation. This allows entrepreneurs to receive state-paid services in electronic format.
Furthermore, an "Information System for Traceability of Fish and Fish Products" is being developed, aimed at ensuring compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards in aquaculture and increasing the export potential of fish products produced in the republic.
