The working visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to the United States of America concluded on November 7, after two days that took place on the 5th and 6th.
The first day of the visit began with the head of state landing at Andrews Air Force Base.
On the second day, Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with James Risch, the head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, as well as other senators from the U.S. Congress.
During the discussions, topics of political and inter-parliamentary cooperation were addressed, as well as issues of trade, economy, and investment.
Later, President Japarov held negotiations with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, at the White House.
Both leaders expressed confidence that their high-level dialogue would contribute to the development of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
The highlight of the visit was the C5+1 summit, which also included the heads of state of Central Asia and the President of the United States.
Before the summit began, President Japarov made a statement to the press.
He emphasized that joint efforts could lead to concrete results and benefit all parties involved.
In his speech at the summit, President Japarov noted that the event opens new opportunities for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, e-commerce, information technology, transport and logistics, tourism, as well as banking and financial services.
After completing the working visit to the USA, President Japarov returned to Bishkek.
