The Chairman of the Government of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, noted that the growing state revenues have contributed to the transformation of the country's budget from a social budget to a development-oriented budget.
He emphasized that the availability of sufficient financial resources opens up opportunities for the implementation of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including the construction of roads and affordable housing through mortgages.
As a result of the meeting of the Ministry of Finance board, the head of the cabinet of ministers announced a number of tasks, in particular, increasing salaries for social sector workers in 2026 and ensuring the rational use of budget funds within the framework of state procurement.
