A laboratory for testing veterinary medicines and feed additives is being built in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently, a new laboratory is actively being built in Kyrgyzstan, which will become part of the Center for Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives under the Veterinary Service, as well as the development of animal husbandry, pastures, and feed. This information was provided by representatives of the country's government.

At this stage, the construction of the foundation of the future building has been completed. According to the project documentation, the laboratory will be three stories high and will be equipped with modern laboratory facilities that meet international standards.

This institution will carry out control over the quality, safety, and effectiveness of veterinary drugs and feed additives.

A total of 153 million soms has been allocated from the republican budget for the implementation of the project. Construction work is ongoing according to the established schedule, and the opening of the laboratory is planned before the end of 2026.
