At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Industrial Policy, Transport, Energy, Architecture, and Construction, Deputy Erkinbek Isenaliev asked the Deputy Minister of Construction about measures to prepare new architects.
The deputy noted that due to the shortage of qualified personnel in the industry, it is important to organize systematic training for new specialists.
Deputy Minister Talant Imanakun uulu responded that the ministry issues certificates to architects in accordance with current regulations. In cases where violations or insufficient qualifications are identified, such certificates may be revoked. Currently, more than 100 certificates have already been canceled.
Previously, certificates were issued without thorough verification of qualifications; however, a new digital system has now been implemented, which requires each candidate to pass an exam and obtain a certificate only upon achieving a minimum score.
