25 years ago, the development of the digital ecosystem began in Kyrgyzstan, made possible by the initiative of the first internet users and enthusiasts. Today, this movement has gained significant momentum within the region. This was stated by Aziz Abakirov, head of the Kyrgyzstan High-Tech Park, at the B5+1 forum.
Abakirov noted: “Yesterday, at the session dedicated to agriculture, our colleagues from Uzbekistan presented the One Central Asia concept, which we fully support. It is very important for Central Asia to function as a single technological and business space. We actively collaborate with all partners, including leading international IT companies, and implement solutions based on artificial intelligence.”
According to him, the region has a unique demographic advantage: about 80% of the population consists of young people, making Central Asia attractive for startups and international companies. The speaker emphasized that the integration of technologies and joint initiatives open new opportunities for business and strengthen ties between the states of the region.
“Central Asia is open to cooperation. We value ambitious initiatives and are ready to develop joint projects for the benefit of the entire region,” added Abakirov.
It should be noted that the B5+1 forum is taking place in Kyrgyzstan, gathering hundreds of participants from Central Asian countries, including businessmen, representatives of government bodies, and technology experts.
