At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Minister of Construction Nurdin Oruntaev reported that there are 200 multi-story buildings in the republic that lack the necessary documents for commissioning.
According to him, the construction of 150 of these facilities was completed in 2025.
The minister also noted that many construction company owners are hiding, and some projects remain unfinished or abandoned. Work on the remaining 50 buildings is ongoing; however, the safety of these buildings raises concerns, as some do not meet established standards, which currently prevents them from being put into operation,” he emphasized.
