Last weekend, agricultural fairs were organized in the Moscow district of Chui region and the Aitmatov district of Talas region, where residents could purchase a variety of food products.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, together with local agricultural administrations and village councils, conducted this event.
The fairs featured meat products, vegetables, fruits, flour, sunflower oil, sugar, and other essential goods at reasonable and stable prices.
Local farmers and producers actively participated in the fairs, allowing them to sell their products directly, without intermediaries. This facilitated better connections between producers and consumers and helped lower food prices for the population.
The main goal of this event was to provide the population with quality and safe food products, maintain price stability for essential goods, and develop the domestic market.
It is important to note that food security in the republic is currently fully ensured. There is a sufficient supply of social food products, and there is no food shortage in the country.
The Ministry and other government agencies continue to monitor the market and work to ensure that the population has access to necessary food products without interruptions.
