As part of the preparations for the New Year celebrations, agricultural fairs will be held in Kyrgyzstan from December 27 to 31, reports the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic. These fairs are aimed at ensuring a stable supply of the domestic market and providing the population with quality products at affordable prices.
It is worth noting that similar events are held every Saturday and Sunday in Bishkek, organized jointly with the city administration and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
At the fairs, residents of the capital will be able to purchase food products at prices significantly lower than market rates. The main goal of these events is to curb price increases, ensure the availability of products for socially vulnerable groups, and support local producers.
The fairs will take place at the following locations: the square named after T. Usubaliev, the area at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov streets, as well as the Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky district.
Certain requirements are set for participants: the products must meet sanitary and hygienic standards and have prices lower than market rates; a letter from the district agricultural administration is also mandatory.
In addition, the ministry reminded that fairs will be organized in Bishkek and other regions of the country until June 2026.
