Weekly fairs will begin in Bishkek, organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. These events aim to make food more accessible for socially vulnerable groups of citizens and stabilize food prices. Relevant information was provided by the ministry's press service.
The fairs will be a result of the directives from the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Minister of this department, Bakyt Torobaev.
From November 8, 2025, until June 2026, the fairs will take place every Saturday and Sunday in the following locations in Bishkek:
- T. Usubaliev Square;
- the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets, Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
The main goal of the fairs is to support local producers and provide the population with quality and affordable products, which will also help strengthen the country's internal food market.
The ministry invites farmers, artisans, and other producers interested in selling their goods at the fair to participate.
Conditions for participants:
The products must meet high quality standards and be environmentally friendly;
Prices must be lower than market prices;
Participants are required to provide a letter confirming their participation from the district agricultural administration of the Ministry.
