Weekly agricultural fairs are being launched in Bishkek.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, these fairs aim to stabilize prices and improve the availability of food for socially vulnerable groups of the population.
The initiative to hold the fairs was proposed by Bakyt Torobaev, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry.
It is planned that the events will take place:
From November 8-9, 2025, until June 2026, every Saturday and Sunday.
Locations in Bishkek:
- T. Usubaliev Square;
- The intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets, Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
The Ministry calls on farmers, artisans, and domestic producers who wish to participate in the events.
Conditions for participants:
- The products must be of high quality and environmentally friendly;
- Prices must be lower than market prices;
- A confirmation letter from the district agricultural administration of the Ministry is required.
