It became known to the Turmush correspondent from the district agricultural development office that the sports event was organized in honor of the professionals of the agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan.
The tournament took place on the mini-football field of the Ninkan Zhundubaeva school and was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding specialist in agriculture, Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev, a distinguished hydraulic engineer.
The event was organized by the Kochkor district agricultural development office, with funding provided by the descendants of Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev. At the beginning of the tournament, his achievements in the water sector were highlighted, after which the football matches began.
Employees from all rural administrations and the Kochkor water management office participated in the competitions, demonstrating active play. The main goal of the tournament is to strengthen team spirit, promote physical health, and respect for the work of specialists who dedicated their lives to the agro-industrial sector.
According to the results of the competitions, the judging panel announced the winners:
1st place – the team from Kara-Suu rural administration, which received 7000 soms and a trophy.
2nd place – the team from Ormon-Khan rural administration, awarded 5000 soms and medals.
3rd place – the water management office, which received 3000 soms and medals.
The best players were awarded statuettes and cash prizes, the funding for which was also provided by the descendants of Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev.

Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev was born on September 20, 1948, in the village of Chayek, Jumgal district.
He began his career from 1966 to 1972, working as a technician in the Kochkor-Jumgal irrigation network management. He then continued his career, holding various positions in water management.
In 1972, Duyshenbek graduated from the hydrology faculty of the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute.
From 1972 to 2013, he held various positions, including senior engineer and chief engineer in different water management offices.
In 2013, he retired after leading the Kochkor water management office for over 30 years.
Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev was awarded numerous honors, including badges of "Excellence of the Ministry of Water Management of the USSR" (1984) and "Excellence of the Ministry of Water Management of Kyrgyzstan" (2004), as well as commendations from the ministries of water management and agriculture.
In 2010, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Kochkor District," and in 2011 – "Honorary Citizen of the Naryn Region."
Duyshenbek Kyrgyzbaev passed away in March 2025.
