These forecasts cover the economic aspects of agriculture and the market for key agri-food products for the member states of the EAEU until 2034.
The EEC emphasizes that these forecasts provide an opportunity to assess the long-term trends in the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Union countries, as well as to identify their potential production and consumer niches.
“This document serves as a basis for forming forecasts of economic growth in agricultural production and the market for key agri-food products for the medium-term (five years) and long-term (ten years) perspective, with the possibility of adjusting the indicators every two years,” the commission added.
