A project for planting raspberries of the 'Polka' variety has been launched in the Toguz-Toro district of the Jalal-Abad region. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Industrial Processing of Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the initiative "30+20+10", farmer Bakyt uulu Omur has planted raspberries on an area of 0.50 hectares.
The main goal of the project is to increase the income of local agricultural producers through the use of modern technologies and the cultivation of high-yield crops.
To assess the soil condition and create optimal conditions for plant growth, specialists from the district plant protection and chemicalization department conducted soil sampling, which was sent for analysis to the laboratory.
"The plot is completely fenced, which protects the crops from adverse effects and animals. The '30+20+10' project is aimed at implementing innovative solutions in the agricultural sector, expanding production in the regions, and supporting farmers," the ministry reported.
