The idea to update the pipes, which have never been repaired, was voiced by delegates at the III People's Kurultai in 2024. As part of the project, earthworks will be carried out and pipes with a total length of 2600 meters will be replaced.
According to the ministry, the completion of this work is scheduled for February 2026, and the total cost of the project will be 288 million soms. The pipe replacement will improve the irrigation system over an area of 3000 hectares.
For 2025, the ministry has approved 410 points developed based on the appeals of delegates from the III People's Kurultai. Of these, 50 activities (12%) have already been completed, while 360 (88%) are in the process of implementation. The majority of the proposals concern irrigation issues (60%) and providing the population with drinking water (23%), which are currently being actively implemented.
