As part of the project "Development of Seed Production and Nurseries" in Kyrgyzstan, preferential loans totaling 2.85 million soms have been allocated.
According to information from the Ministry of Finance, the Cabinet of Ministers' order No. 416-r dated May 26, 2025, approved this project, which aims for the sustainable development of seed production, as well as crop rotation and the renewal of agricultural crop varieties.
To implement this project, JSC "Aiyl Bank" and JSC "Eldik Bank" were involved, which together provided credit resources amounting to 100 million soms.
As of October 9, 2025, two entities in the republic have already received preferential loans under this project totaling 2.85 million soms.
This program is aimed at improving the quality of local seed material, developing nurseries, and creating conditions for import substitution in the agricultural sector.
