In Kyrgyzstan, the sugar beet harvest is coming to an end: an electronic queue system has been implemented

This year, the sugar beet harvest has been completed in Kyrgyzstan, and an electronic queue system has been successfully implemented at the raw material reception points.

The Ministry of Agriculture reported that farmers now have the opportunity to independently sign up for an online queue on dates that are convenient for them, which helps avoid unnecessary delays in delivering the harvest.

Representatives of the reception points noted that the new system significantly simplifies the process for farmers, helping to save time and costs associated with transporting the products.

Currently, the sugar beet harvest in the republic is 60-70% complete.

“In 2024, as in this year, price stability for sugar is expected, and no market shortages are anticipated. By the end of the first nine months of 2025, Kyrgyzstan will be able to independently provide itself with 6 out of 9 main socially significant food products as part of the food security program,” the statement said.

Among these products are potatoes, meat, milk, eggs, vegetables, and sugar,” the agency added.
