
Starting from November 8, weekly fairs will begin operating in Bishkek, featuring socially significant food products. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of these fairs is to stabilize prices and make food products more accessible for socially vulnerable groups of the population. Support for local producers and strengthening the country's food market is also planned.
The fairs will be held every Saturday and Sunday from November 8-9 until June 2026 at the following locations:
• Usubalieva Square;
• the intersection of Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets, Erkindik Boulevard (Pervomaisky District).
The Ministry urges farmers, artisans, and local producers who wish to participate in this project to get involved.
Participants in the fairs must meet the following requirements:
- products must be of high quality and environmentally friendly;
- prices must be lower than market prices;
- it is necessary to provide supporting documents from the district agricultural department of the ministry.
