Saussage prices ranged from 100 to 400 soms
In order to support agriculture and ensure food security in the republic, fairs are being held, initiated by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. Each district has its own schedule for holding fairs, as reported by the ministry.
In the Manas district of the Talas region, prices for products at the recent fair were noticeably lower than market prices. For example, meat was sold at a price of 650 soms, while sausage ranged from 100 to 400 soms.
“There is no shortage of basic food products in the republic, and reserves are at a sufficient level. Fairs are organized to maintain a stable domestic market and provide citizens with quality products at affordable prices. These initiatives are aimed at supporting the agricultural sector and activating the economies of the regions,” emphasized the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture.
