According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, the domestic market is currently fully supplied with essential food products, and there is no shortage observed.
The ministry also noted that food fairs have been organized in every region of the country, which will operate until June 2026.
“Each district has a special schedule for the fairs that determines the days they will be held. Responsible officials are required to monitor the implementation of events according to this schedule. At the fairs, food products can be purchased at lower prices than in regular retail outlets. This will allow citizens to stock up on necessary goods for a week,” the statement said.
The fairs are organized to maintain food stability and provide the population with quality products at affordable prices.
