The Ministry of Agriculture explained the rise in vegetable oil prices in Kyrgyzstan
The main factors contributing to the current increase in prices are related to external conditions: fluctuations in global prices for energy resources and food products, as well as disruptions in logistics chains and growing uncertainty in international markets.
The Ministry of Agriculture noted that for socially significant goods such as flour, bread, milk, rice, sugar, pasta, and eggs, there has been no price increase since the beginning of the year.
According to the ministry, "the increase in prices for vegetable oil is due to the rise in the cost of imported raw materials."
