According to him, this sector shows stable growth: compared to the same period last year, the processing level has increased by 140%.
By presidential decree last year, a development strategy was adopted, which aims for the share of processed agricultural raw materials to reach 50%.
“Our main partners in investment projects remain the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. This year, funding for the processing of agricultural raw materials is planned to reach up to 20 million dollars for new initiatives,” Chynaliyev added.
He also noted that one of the key mechanisms of state support is the preferential lending program for the agro-industrial complex, aimed at upgrading equipment, expanding production capacities, and creating regional processing enterprises.
