“The main goal of this fair is to provide residents with the opportunity to purchase products at affordable prices. In particular, the price of beef and lamb does not exceed 650 soms, while a soup set is offered for 300 soms. Potatoes can be bought for 23-27 soms, and eggs for 12 soms,” she noted.
The fair also features apples, beans, honey, cheese, butter, jam, and bozo. Farmers bring their products themselves, and we, the village council staff, urged them to set prices that would be comfortable for the population.
Thus, we have created favorable conditions for both farmers, who have faced difficulties selling their products, and for citizens, who have found it challenging to find goods at reasonable prices.
The fair will take place every Thursday. For example, at the market, potatoes cost 35-40 soms, and meat can be purchased for 30-50 soms less than in stores,” she added.
