In Batken, local authorities fined traders who sold meat at prices above the established norms, as reported by the city hall.

According to the city hall, city officials conducted an inspection at the livestock market, where they checked the current prices for livestock.

Additionally, they assessed the operations of slaughterhouses and the conditions under which services are provided.

Currently, price monitoring is also being conducted in meat shops.

At the direction of the regional head, the opening of municipal meat shops in various districts and cities will be organized if necessary.

According to data from the antimonopoly agency, the following prices were established in Batken: beef - 670 soms, lamb - 680 soms. As a result of the inspections, measures were taken against 13 sellers who inflated prices, and they were fined a total of 39,000 soms.
