In Bishkek, the land use control department of the mayor's office has intensified its efforts to monitor the placement of advertising objects. The aim of this work is to bring the city in line with the design code. According to the press service of the municipality, as a result of the conducted activities, a total of 120 advertising structures were dismantled.
Recently, a raid took place in the Lenin and Pervomaisky districts, including the intersection of Manas and Jibek Jolu avenues, as well as sections of the Young Guard Boulevard and Chuy Avenue. These actions were carried out in cooperation with the akimats, the municipal inspection, and the main department of architecture and urban planning.
During the raid, signs and advertising boards that did not meet the established requirements and were installed without the necessary permits were removed. In the Pervomaisky district, seven protocols were drawn up under Article 107, Parts 3-4 of the Code of Violations.
In the nine months of 2025, the department dismantled 3,278 illegal advertising structures.
Additionally, based on Articles 107 and 179 of the Code of Violations, 288 protocols were drawn up for a total amount of 1 million 235 thousand soms.
