The city administration justified this requirement by the implementation of the second stage of the city’s design code, as well as by the resolution of the Bishkek City Council No. 134 dated May 14, 2024, concerning the rules for the placement and operation of advertising structures and the appearance of facades, along with the "Aчык асман" concept.
Providers are recommended to:
- Independently dismantle cables installed on the facades of buildings and structures.
- Relocate and lay communication lines using underground methods or internal installation along courtyard facades.
- Bring external engineering networks into compliance with established architectural standards and requirements.
In addition, the city administration urged residents to actively contact their internet providers to address violations related to the installation of cables on building facades.
