At the moment, only one store offers meat at the established antimonopoly prices: lamb costs 680 soms, and beef costs 670 soms.
In other stores, the prices for meat exceed 680 soms.
The closure of many trading points forces buyers to stand in long queues.
As reported by the antimonopoly agency, a temporary price regulation for meat was previously introduced for a period of 90 days, which was supposed to end on November 11, 2025. However, this period has been extended. For Batken and the Batken region, state price regulation will now be in effect until December 31, 2025.
The conditions of regulation are as follows:
- The price for 1 kg of beef is set at 670 soms,
- The price for 1 kg of lamb is 680 soms.
