In the Jalal-Abad region, in the Ala-Buka district, a monitoring of meat prices was conducted. This information was provided by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the monitoring, ministry staff visited points of sale engaged in meat sales, where they assessed the current price situation and explained the conditions for extending the moratorium on price increases until the end of 2025.
Currently, the following prices for meat are in effect in the Ala-Buka district:
- lamb — 690 soms,
- beef — 650 soms,
- horse meat — 650 soms.
The goal of extending the moratorium is to prevent sharp price increases, combat speculative actions in the market, stabilize the domestic price situation, and ensure the availability of meat for socially vulnerable groups of the population.
