At the instruction of Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, the city mayor Eldos Taev, together with relevant services, conducted an inspection of the points of sale dealing with meat.
During the inspection, sellers were informed that any unjustified increase in meat prices is unacceptable. The maximum price set by the antimonopoly authority should be 670–680 soms. An important aspect is also compliance with sanitary standards and ensuring the population has access to quality products at stable prices.
Sellers were warned that if violations are detected, necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
The main goal of this initiative is to stabilize meat prices and protect consumers from unjustified price increases.
