Over 34 million soms were spent on the reconstruction of the Kyzyl-Zhyldyz canal in Naryn

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the completion of an important project for the reconstruction of the Kyzyl-Jyldyz canal, which was carried out by the Naryn Regional Water Management Authority.
 
During the work, 13,395 square meters of concrete were laid over a length of 2,070 meters. These measures are aimed at optimizing the use of water resources, increasing the reliability of the irrigation system, and ensuring sustainable water supply for farmers.
 
The total estimated cost of the reconstruction project amounted to 34 million 719 thousand 840 soms.
 
The Ministry emphasizes that work on modernizing canals and improving irrigation infrastructure will continue, as such initiatives significantly contribute to increasing productivity in agriculture.
