As a result of the analysis of the potential for crop and livestock production in the Jalal-Abad region, the establishment of two trade and logistics centers (TLC) and three processing enterprises is planned. They will take into account the climatic and geographical features of the region, which will help preserve agricultural products, minimize losses, and increase processing volumes. The main areas of work for the enterprises will include the processing of wheat, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, wool, as well as the production of oil and feed.
Plans for the establishment of processing enterprises in the districts and cities of the region:
— At-Bashinsky district — 10 processing enterprises;
— Naryn district — 1 TLC and 6 processing enterprises;
— Ak-Talinsky district — 3 processing enterprises;
— Jumgal district — 5 processing enterprises;
— Kochkor district — 1 TLC and 7 processing enterprises.
The Ministry will continue to collaborate with local authorities to enhance the agro-industrial potential of the Naryn region and other regions of the country.
