During the negotiations, the focus was on the joint production of seeds for both vegetable crops and medicinal plants. Gansu Province, known for its research institutes, produces up to 70% of seeds in China and has significant agricultural potential.
The meeting also addressed the issue of combating thorny shrubs such as altygan and karagan in the Suusamyr Valley of Kyrgyzstan.
The parties considered the possibility not only of eliminating these plants that occupy pasture lands but also of processing them to create feed and fertilizers. In this regard, the establishment of a joint venture is planned.

Additionally, issues related to the supply of specialized agricultural machinery from China for potato farming, as well as the exchange of experience and training of qualified personnel, were discussed. Specialists from the relevant agencies of both countries will begin joint work in this direction.
The discussion of these issues highlights that such cooperation can significantly increase trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China.
According to statistical data, the trade turnover between the two countries in 2024 amounted to 23 billion dollars, and in the first nine months of 2025, it reached 22 billion dollars. At the same time, the export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan doubled.
