During the negotiations, the parties also discussed issues related to the thorny shrubs of altigan and karagana, which threaten pastures in the Suusamyr Valley of Kyrgyzstan. The possibility of not only eliminating these plants but also processing them to obtain feed and fertilizers was considered, which implies the creation of a joint venture.
In addition, issues regarding the supply of specialized agricultural machinery from China for potato cultivation were discussed, as well as the exchange of experience and the training of qualified personnel. Specialists from the relevant ministries of both countries will begin active work in this direction.
The participants of the negotiations emphasized that such cooperation could significantly increase trade turnover between the two countries. According to statistics, in 2024, the trade volume between Kyrgyzstan and China amounted to 23 billion dollars, and in the first nine months of the current year, it has already reached 22 billion dollars. At the same time, the export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan has doubled.
