The main objective is to increase the level of agricultural product processing to 25% by 2030.
As a result of analyzing the potential of crop production and animal husbandry in the Jalal-Abad region, the creation of 7 trade and logistics centers and 59 processing enterprises is planned.
“These enterprises will take into account the climatic and geographical features of the region, which will allow for the preservation of agricultural products, minimize losses, and increase processing volumes. The expanded range of activities will include the processing of wheat, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, wool, as well as the production of oil and feed,” the statement notes.
Planned distribution by districts and cities of the region:
* In the Aksy district — 1 TLC and 10 enterprises;
* In the Ala-Buka district — 1 TLC and 7 enterprises;
* In the Bazar-Korgon district — 2 TLC and 6 enterprises;
* In the Nooken district — 1 TLC and 7 enterprises;
* In the Suzak district — 1 TLC and 9 enterprises;
* In the Toguz-Toro district — 7 enterprises;
* In the Toktogul district — 1 TLC and 6 enterprises;
* In the Chatkal district — 6 enterprises;
* In the city of Kara-Kul — 1 enterprise.
It should be noted that the implementation of this project will cover all districts and rural municipalities of the region, ensuring processing enterprises with stable raw materials according to the specialized profile of each region. A reduction in agricultural product losses, the creation of new jobs, and the strengthening of the competitive positions of the agro-industrial complex are expected.
