The event took place at the Culture House named after Kaipbek Sultan gaziev and gathered representatives of public organizations, as well as leaders of various institutions and enterprises.
At the beginning of the celebration, a surah from the Quran was recited in memory of the deceased ancestors, after which the district historical museum presented a special video. An exhibition was also organized, showcasing portraits of famous historical figures.
The Day of Remembrance for Ancestors and History has been celebrated in Kyrgyzstan since 2017.
